About Course

TMC’s second-year Personal Development course is dedicated to refining vital life skills including effective communication, time management, goal setting, and emotional intelligence. Throughout the program, you’ll actively participate in practical exercises, group discussions, and introspective exercises to foster personal growth and prepare for upcoming challenges. By committing to the coursework, you’ll pave the way for transformative change and personal development.

WEEK 1: CORE LESSONS
These lessons will provide fundamental knowledge and skills to build upon as we advance throughout the course. The lessons in this course are considered key concepts that are essential for understanding and mastering Personal Development.

WEEK 2: MUSCLE 1 – CHARACTER
Confidence and character are closely related because having strong character often involves having a sense of self-assurance and belief in oneself. By cultivating a sense of self-assurance, strong moral compass, and building self-confidence, you can build a foundation for achieving your goals and living a meaningful life.

WEEK 3: MUSCLE 2 – THE DETERMINATION MUSCLE
Determination is the quality of being firmly committed to achieving a goal or objective, even in the face of adversity. It involves the ability to persist and maintain a positive attitude in the pursuit of a desired outcome.

WEEK 4: MUSCLE 3 – THE AFFIRMATION MUSCLE OR SAY YES MUSCLE
Saying yes to your future and creating a legacy starts with affirming who you are by saying yes to your greatness. When you step outside of you comfort zone and take on something that challenges you, you an learn new skills, build resilience, and gain confidence. This lesson is pivotal in order for you to walk in your fullness.

WEEK 5: MUSCLE 4 – THE HIGHEST CHOICE MUSCLE
The ability to choose empowers you and gives you a sense of control over your life. When you make choices, you are accountable for the outcomes that result from those choices. This lesson will walk you through how using the power of making good decisions and choosing wisely eventually begins to reshape your world.

WEEK 6: MUSCLE 5 – MY HONESTY MUSCLE
The honesty muscle refers to the capacity to be truthful with oneself and others. It involves developing the ability to acknowledge and confront difficult truths, even when they may be uncomfortable or challenging. Building your honesty muscle requires commitment to self-reflection and introspection, as well as a willingness to be vulnerable and open with others.

WEEK 7: MUSCLE 6 – YOUR UNDERSTANDING MUSCLE
When you understand something, you are able to incorporate that information into your existing knowledge structures and use it to inform your thinking and decision making. The power to proceed in life in an accelerated fashion, is in proportion to your understanding of what really matters.

WEEK 8: MUSCLE 7 – YOUR FAITH IN MYSELF MUSCLE
Faith, at its core, is deep-rooted in the expectation of good things to come. It goes beyond hope. Faith is just as important as the air we breath. It nourishes our heart and soul. It also helps you to discover your purpose in life. Simply put, it the importance of faith cannot be underestimated.

WEEK 9: MUSCLE 8 – YOUR TAKE ACTION MUSCLE OR FOLLOW THROUGH MUSCLE

WEEK 10: MUSCLE 9 – THE FORGIVENESS MUSCLE
How to forgive yourself, is one of the most difficult things to learn. What does self forgiveness mean to you and why is it important to you?

This series of lessons will define what chaos is, what causes chaos, and how you can come out of chaos.

WEEK 31: HEALTHY VS TOXIC RELATIONSHIPS
This lesson will help you to identify relationships in your life that may be toxic and give you practical tools on breaking free from those relationships that do no serve you.

Week 32: BOUNDARIES
This lesson is your introduction to boundaries and will assist you as you learn about the different types of boundaries and how they present in the various types of relationships in your life.

Week 33: BOUNDARIES 201
This lesson solely focuses on how to establish healthy boundaries with adult children and the importance of why it is necessary.

WEEK 34: DEFINING YOUR RELATIONSHIPS
This week we are going to define the various types of relationships in our lives and learn how to qualify the individuals that hold those roles.

WEEK 35: GETTING UNSTUCK PART 1
When you know what you're feeling and why, you'll be better able to navigate a route to getting unstuck. This is part one of a four-part series on getting unstuck.

Procrastination in the simplest form, is when you postpone something that you know in your heart you should do now, but you put if off until later. This lesson will identify the inhibitors we use to put a limitation on our level of achievement.

This lesson will focus on locating forms of procrastination that need our intentional effort to abolish them.
